Dr. William Pohl
KNOX ONLINE INSTRUCTOR
Taylor University, BA; Trinity Evangelical Divinity School, MDiv, PhD.
Dr. William Pohl has a passion for helping Christians understand the Old Testament and its relevance for their lives. He believes knowledge of the OT is essential if one is to understand fully the message and ministry of Jesus and the message of the NT.
Outside of the classroom, he enjoys spending quality time with his wife, Shaunté, and two young kids, Samuel and Abigail. He also enjoys almost any sport (watching and playing) and reading.
Q: What has been the most rewarding aspect of teaching in Knox Online?
A: I have thoroughly enjoyed working with Knox Online students for two main reasons: (1) the evident passion for growing in the knowledge of Christ, and (2) the international exposure of the program. Knowing that students from around the US and the world are able to grow in their knowledge of the OT and their walk with Christ and are able to use their studies to participate in the missio dei in their various mission fields is both exciting and humbling.
