Dr. Ronald Kovack is the co-founder and board chairman of Kovack Securities. He has served as a member of the Advisory Council for the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA), which provides regulatory oversight for all securities firms in the U. S., as well as chairman of the FINRA District 7. Dr. Kovack has been an elder at Coral Ridge Presbyterian Church since 1979 and is currently Clerk of Session. He has been responsible for overseeing the church budget, capital campaigns, and developmental giving. Dr. Kovack was a founding director of Coral Ridge Ministries and served on that board for more than thirty years. During that period he served as Coral Ridge Ministries’ Executive Director on three separate occasions. He has also served on the boards of Evangelism Explosion International and Westminster Academy, the outstanding K-12 Christian school founded by Dr. D. James Kennedy in 1971.
